29-year-old Chelsea Beller was shot and killed inside Barcelona Wine Bar on November 19, 2017.

Fulton County District Attorney, Paul L. Howard, Jr. announces the indictments of Carlous Bailey, 20, Terry Jones, 19, Samuel Ott, 21, and Ira Williams, 19, for the shooting death of 29-year-old Chelsea Beller at Barcelona Wine Bar on November 19, 2017.

Bailey, Jones, Ott, and Williams all face charges of MURDER, FELONY MURDER, ARMED ROBBERY, AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON, KIDNAPPING, FALSE IMPRISONMENT, BURGLARY IN THE SECOND DEGREE, PARTICIPATION IN CRIMINAL STREET GANG ACTIVITY, AND SMASH AND GRAB BURGLARY.

On November 19, 2017 at 02:23am, Bailey, OTT, and Williams forced their way into Barcelona Wine Bar, 1085 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta, with guns in hand. Jones dropped the trio off and circled the block as he waited for them to finish the armed robbery. Beller and four employees were the only people inside at closing time. Surveillance video showed Bailey forcing Beller upstairs to the management office while Ott and Williams stayed downstairs with the other four employees whose legs and hands were bound with duct tape.

The video captured Bailey firing his handgun. Beller, who was standing next to him, was hit in the shoulder. Beller removed her phone from her pocket to call 911, but Bailey snatched the phone out of her hand and slammed it on the ground. Bailey unloaded the safe, and a short time later Williams entered the manager’s office and held Beller at gunpoint. Shortly after, she collapsed to the floor and died.

Instead of meeting Jones outside, they carjacked a “Lyft” driver as he sat in the parking lot across the street. Police at the scene found a latex glove and articles of clothing that belonged to the suspects.
