McDaniel Brothers Arrested and Released 16 Times

Atlanta– Fulton County District Attorney Paul L. Howard, Jr. announces 17-year-old Charlie McDaniel and 16-year-old Isaac McDaniel are scheduled to enter a plea. The two brothers face charges of Murder, Participation in Criminal Street Gang Activity, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of Pistol or Revolver by Person Under 18 YOA—2nd or subsequent offense.
On November 10, 2016, the victim, 50-year-old Anthony Brooks, recognized the brothers at a Shell gas station on Campbellton Road in Southwest Atlanta as the suspects responsible for recent car thefts at that location. The victim approached the juveniles and threatened to call the police. The teen brothers attacked Brooks and subsequently shot and killed him.
The McDaniel brothers are scheduled to enter their plea in Courtroom 8D tomorrow morning, September 14, 2017, at 9:30 a.m.
